About Us

Seungwan Kim is the CEO and founder of NEXT group. Seungwan is known for his expertise in electricity system designs for zero-carbon energy transitions in Korea. In the past, he has served as a member of the 2050 Presidential Carbon Neutrality Commission, the Hydrogen Economy Council under the Prime Minister's Office and the National Council on Climate and Air Quality, as well as a non-executive Director of Korea Energy Agency. Besides the power industry, he is currently continuing to participate in Korea's energy and climate policy-making processes by giving advisory services to government and corporates. He is also a professor of Electrical Engineering at Chungnam National University since 2018.
